DryCut Method Basics

When hair is cut when it’s dry it prevents overcutting and styling is consistent, making it easier to recreate that salon-worthy look at home.

During our signature DryCuts…

  • The stylist can observe in real time how the hair is naturally falling and moving 
  • The hair is stronger and easier to handle
  • The hair is less likely to be damaged because we don’t over-work the hair with product
  • Styling the hair is consistent and can be replicated at home

At the Edge Boutique we are dedicated to providing consistent modern cuts that are quick and effortless.  We want you to be part of creating your own haircut and be able to style your hair just the way it looked at the salon.

Yes, but your hair must be dry, detangled, and free of product prior to the appointment time.

Yes.  We will start off with your preferred style number and then adjust the cut to fit your current hair length or bangs. 

Depends on the style.  For shorter cuts, we recommend every 3-5 weeks.  For longer cuts, we recommend every 4-6 weeks. But if you want to keep that "do" fresh... you can pop in every two weeks, it's whatever works best for you!

We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

If you’re running a bit late, just let us know—but if it’s more than 10 minutes, we’ll need to reschedule to ensure you get the best experience possible.
